Philly four-piece Church Girls write propulsive melodies and achingly vulnerable lyrics wrapped in the throbbing anxiety of post-punk and joyous aggression of pop-punk. Formed in 2014 by Mariel Beaumont, the group has toured extensively across the US, UK, Canada, & Europe and been featured at Audiotree, KEXP, Stereogum, Bandcamp New & Notable and more. They'll be touring on their new EP Nightmare Nights, out in October 2023.Really Big Really Clever is the new project from Jared Tomkins and Jordan Lilford, formed in 2022 after the split of their previous band Gender Roles. After years of touring, writing & recording together, the pair wasted no time in writing and recording their to-be-titled debut album at London's The Bookhouse Studio with producer Tom Hill. Expect chaotic fast-paced guitar bangers about doubt, uncertainty and self-help. The band performs live as a 4 piece with good friends Sam Perkins (drums) and Chris Childs (bass). The band's first shows were opening on tour for Regal Cheer around the UK in February '23, since then shows have followed around the country including showcases this May at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival.
