BRUM ROCKS is an exciting project that will unite hundreds of amateur musicians and singers for a once-in-a-lifetime rock concert in Birmingham next Summer in 2024.Leading up to the big event, we will run one-off BRUM ROCKS workshops and events across Birmingham and the Black Country that will give participants a small taste of what the final event will be like.If you can’t wait and want to join one of our regular groups, such as one of our Rock Collective’s or our Misfits instrumental groups, click here to find more of Misfits Music’s other musical offerings.Whether you're a seasoned musician or a beginner, this workshop provides the perfect warm-up for the upcoming Big Brum Rocks event in June 2024. We're gearing up to bring hundreds of people together to create a massive rock music spectacle, and you can be part of it!What to Expect:No Musical Experience Required: You don't need to be a music theory expert or read sheet music. We'll provide song sheets with chords and lyrics, making it easy for everyone to participate.Bring Your Voice or Instrument: Whether you're a singer, guitarist, drummer, bassist, or any other rock instrument, come along and have fun. Don't forget your passion and enthusiasm!Learn, Collaborate, and Rock Out: Our experienced instructors will guide you through the songs in a structured way so that everyone knows what is going on and that everyone plays together as a team.
